what a night. seriously. i still can't get over the insanity of it.
essentially my friend justin came over, and he, josh, and i made tacos. then zuber joined us. we drank entirely too much, and everyone ended up naked. well, first it was undies only, as we were playing jenga (as a drinking game, of course) and the boys decided that a great rule would be "if ange knocks it over, she has to take off her shirt". i was all "fuck that, you guys take off your shirts". zuber called my bluff right away and took off his shirt. and his pants. justin and josh followed suit immediately, and there i was, clothed and laughing.
the rest of the night continued in a similar fashion, until there was even less clothing and more drinking. details will be spared, but it was a ridiculous night, to say the least. zube left in time to catch the last subway and justin slept in the guest room. i crashed sometime around 3:30, i think the boys slept just after 5.
i slept in till noon today. insane. and necessary. thankfully, i only had a slight headache upon waking, and it was effectively banished with some advil and justin's made-from-scratch eggs benedict. we left the apartment around 2, with justin heading to zuber's place and josh and i going downtown for shits. it was a beautiful day to be outside, sunny but not too hot. absolutely gorgeous! we walked around the entertainment district, and i took josh by the chum/much music building, then walked along queen west (his first time!) and then went to mec. i bought two pod backpacks that i've been wanting for a while. essentially i couldn't decide between two colours, so i bought both and justified it by saying that i could wear one and josh could wear the other (but really, it just gives me both colour options at my disposal).
i think we're just going to lay low tonight and watch a movie or some such. i'm tired, but the ridiculousness of last night was well worth it. andrew said i was "the most unique friend" he's ever had. i'm going to take that as a weird compliment. i love those boys. |
