how is it december?!? seriously.
this week is zooming by, in the best possible way. i thought yesterday was monday, and that today was tuesday. if i'm a day behind like this all week, i'll feel like i had a 4 day week, and that will be wonderous. i'm already looking forward to sleeping in on saturday.
i wanted to go see burlesque with meredith this weekend. she can't make it due to christmas party commitments, but i swear on all things fabulous that we will see this piece of cinematic wonder.
my sister's going to come visit me in a few weeks, and i'm really looking forward to it. i hope that all goes according to plan, that we have fun, and that she leaves secure in the knowledge that her big sister is totally badass.

I'm sure Aspen will love every second and I'm sure she already knows you're the best big sister ever.

My mom enjoyed Burlesque. Hopefully you do, too. I'd see St. Cloud with you, but I'd skip out on anything with pre-recorded singing. Worse than Twilight.

Come see it with Mora. She wants to see it so badly.

Hmmm, Burlesque. I kind of want to see it, for the fashion and for Christina Aguilera (I don't really like her music usually, but the woman's got one hell of a set of pipes and I can RESPECT that), but I am really afraid the writing will suck monkey balls. It's a conundrum.

i expect it to suck, in the best possible way. a campy, ridiculous way. like crossroads and glitter came together, and somehow ended up with something great.
did i just give away my penchant for pop star-driven, essentially type-cast, so-good-they're-bad, so-bad-they're-good film projects? oops.

actual burlesque would be great, but entertaining in an entirely different way.
sometimes you just need to be ridiculous, and watch things that are inherently ridiculous and/or terrible, in a wonderfully campy way. well maybe not you, but some people. generally.

RYC: Very true, very true. She did not have to pay for a wedding. Those are expensive. But still, I was really hoping she'd ask me to make her wedding dress. Maybe some day when she finds someone worth her time she will.
