oh gaaad. last night. oh gaaad.
after a hellish day at work, i decided that i needed to unwind. as i was texting zuber, asking if he was in the mood to get randomly drunk, he was texting me to let me know he'd gotten into the program he auditioned for. perfect! after a $5 trip to the grocery store, and $70 trip to the liquor store [priorities!!], i made josh and i a killer dinner [muscles + bread. mmmmmm!]. josh bowed out of going to davisville as he was falling asleep on the couch at 7:30.
i left here at 8, with a magnum of cheap juicewine in my totally cute new bag that i love and adore. got to andrew's just as he and zach were getting home from the grocery store. perfect timing. the boys were so baked. hilarious. i drank way too much wine while we talked about inane shit and watched sports. oh boys.
i planned to leave around midnight, but the combination of being drunk, tired, and hot [the boys' apartment is always sweltering] got the best of me. josh had texted me earlier in the evening saying that he didn't mind if i stayed over, and would prefer it to me being drunk and alone on the subway. he's so sweet. zube offered to let me crash, so crash i did. andrew's bed is a fucking abyss. a wonderful, beautiful, sleep-filled abyss. i went to bed around 1 [i think??] while zube played video games till 5:30 [i think?]. his schedule is ridiculous. around 7:45 i got up, grabbed my jeans, forehead-kissed andrew goodbye, and walked out into one of the most beautiful mornings i've seen in a long time. the walk of shame is a lot more fun when there's no shame involved.
i got home at 9, stripped, and jumped into bed with joshua for another hour and a half of glorious sleep. when i tore myself away from bed for the day, i set to cleaning the apartment. the bathroom is sparkling. yay.
now i'm waiting to hear from elena. hopefully she'll be here in a few hours. i cannot wait to see that wonderful broad. i'm not sure if zuber and/or any of the other kids i know are coming over for dinner tonight, but i'm making killer macaroni, regardless. saturdays are great! |
