there's not a lot going on at the moment. i'm about to embark on what could be one of the longest work weeks of my life, being that tomorrow morning (if all goes according to plan) wo officially transition from analog (film) to digital imaging at work. it's been a long time coming, and steps have been taken to ensure that it goes as smoothly as possible, but of course there will be bugs. not to mention that i'm the youngest person at work, one of two that have used digital before, and the other is an idiot. few people seem to understand how great this change can be, and are looking at it negatively. fuck people, change isn't the enemy. i know you're 55 years old and you've been doing things a certain way for a long time, but that doesn't mean it's the best way. seriously.
other than resting up for my big, possibly frustrating week, the weekend's been pretty typical. we saw ironman 2 yesterday, and did a little shopping. i loved the movie. it's big and flashy like a summer blockbuster should be, and i loved both robert downey, jr. and mickey rourke. fantastic. i bought a pair of capri sweats at roots, for a really decent price, and oh god are they comfortable. i was tempted to buy more, due to the awesome comfort level, but resisted, as i don't want to become that person who wears nothing but sweats.
i might go to la senza today, because we skipped it yesterday, and i'd like a new bra. i'm going to look online first tho, because if they don't have anything that i'm interested in, it's not worth the trip. i really love the internet. |
