i'm back from my little trip to kenora. we flew in last night, and it's really nice to have a couple of buffer days before i have to go back to work.
the visit... had its ups and downs. essentially, the up was my time with lindsay, the down was my time with josh's mother. i won't bother getting into how things are with her, suffice to say that she's going to be the mother-in-law i always knew i didn't want. i going to andrew's on thursday and i cannot wait to just vent everything, and have him listen and tell me that i'm not insane - she is.
ANYWAY, i'm not going to lie, the major reason behind this entry is vanity (yet again). linds and i went out saturday, first to dinner with a couple of my former co-workers, then to a fundraiser oktoberfest dealie. it wasn't exactly the time of my life, but it was a great reason to get dressed up and do fun makeup.
