praise the lord, i'm healed.
i am feeling back to normal. a bit of a waste of a 3 day weekend, but it could have been worse.
josh is watching twilight "to see what the hype is about" and i have to say this is one of the worst movies to have ever played on my television. i thought i could tune it out and write some emails. no. it's so bad that i had to actively avoid it with the old headphones + itunes trick. i don't know how so many people are so enthralled with this movie/book/series. if it's written even half as poorly as it's acted, i'm not even sure how it made it as far as a movie deal. [wait, yes i am. tweens and dollah bills, y'all]
i'm trying to sort a few things out before we head to winnipeg/southern ontario. however, it's easter sunday and the place i want to call in winnipeg for a brow-threading appointment is closed. curses!
i did manage to update my ipod with some songs it was missing, as well as my digital copy of nick and norah's infinite playlist. god damn i want to marry michael cera. i don't think that re-watching arrested development from the beginning (as josh and i have started to do this week) has helped derail the 'i love michael cera' train.

I wasn't the biggest fan of nick and norah...i mean, it saved itself in the end and the music was great, but it was just...a bit silly.
Although, the creepy blond gay guy in the movie...i forget his name...was in the original cast of Spring awakening and I met him :0D

No, i completely understand. The movie did have a really fun feel to it and the music WAS amazing. I did like that they were from Jersey and they spent the night going all over in nyc. It reminds me of all the times i've spent in nyc going to broadway shows and eating out in diners and staying up really late walking down broadway at like 2am. :0)

I'm glad I'm not the only sane one. There has never been a more melodramatic movie.

Michael Cera=Lovely and homosexual. True story. He was my brother's best friend's roommate.

I want to see the movie though.

i don't get the twilight hype either. there's a few coworkers (almost 30 years old & over) who are obsessed with it. i won't go near any of it with a stick.

Twiliiiiight...I think it got so popular 'cause the main character Bella is accessible and it's nice to wish your life was more exciting than it actually is. At least, that's just what I think. Who knows?!
