work wasn't terrible today. i got thru a ton of paperwork that i hadn't been looking forward to. now i just have to wait for the radiologist to sign a couple of pages, and i can mail the whole giant stack of bullshit off and be done with it.
josh and i went out tonight. i love our date nights. we sort of did this one backwards, in that we started with tear-off-your-clothes sex, then went for a drink, then had dinner. i figure that after 3 years together, the order doesn't matter so much. now that i think of it, we sort of paused between dinner and the movie to have hot makeouts in my living room on our first date, so i guess we've never really played it by the book.
anyway, dinner tonight was at the keg mansion. i love that place, but can't really justify the cost. luckily, josh's mom sent him a gift card for the keg a couple of weeks ago, and we were happy to put it to use. we split escargot as an app, and my main course was a sirloin topped with shrimp and chorizo with sauteed peppers in a bernaise sauce. meats don't clash! i even followed josh's lead and indulged with a twice-baked potato. it was heaven.

i think i'm really getting the hang of this purple eye shadow thing. it's pretty much my go-to look, after gold and bronze. i did a base of gold fizz tonight, and used junebug as liner. i really love the hysteric (purple)/junebug (green) combo. it's got a total peacock vibe. love.
now if only i could get the hang of photographing makeup... i can't seem to get it right with my camera or my blackberry. so tricky.
