apparently i haven't posted in a while. hm.
not a ton is going on, i suppose. work's been the usual. i went to a conference in markham on friday, and was the youngest person there by an average of [by my estimate] 27 years.
my dad and one of my brothers came down to visit this weekend. it was nice. we went to see avatar last night, and it was brilliant. yes, the plot is dances with wolves meets pocahontas meets ferngully, but it was visually stunning and truly a good movie.
my dad brough his drill with him and finally put the legs on our sofabed. i love it. i mean, i loved it before, but it was on the floor. he also drilled some holes in our wall and [after a bit of a debacle last night] we finally hung our curtains today! i mean, we've only been here since october... i love the curtains, and our bedroom is looking more and more fantastic. the only thing that i still want to do is hang a few framed things and maybe rearrange my bookshelf, and voila! it'll be exactly how i want it. i promise to post pictures soon.
god damn i'm starving. pizza sub? don't mind if i do. |
