lately, baseball has been my life. jays games, talk, gear. hangouts at the dome. i'm loving it.
caitlin stayed with us this week. in a nutshell, she needed a place to be that wasn't the boys' apartment, so we offered up our guest room. it was nice having her here, tho i think josh expected her to be more of the "family" than she was. i figured she'd stick mostly to her herself and i was right. she read and studied in her room most of the time. it was just nice to know that she was somewhere safe, she wasn't losing her mind, and she and andrew and matt were all getting a little space. she headed back over there yesterday, and i hope that things are back on track with those friendships.
i went out for dinner with jes and her boyfriend andrew on friday night, and she gave me the nicki minaj nail polishes she'd picked up for me. it was lovely to visit with them, and now my nails are so super pretty. total win.
i've got little things going on nearly every day this week. i like having things to do, but i hate not being able to be spontaneous. believe it or not, plange likes to do things on a whim from time to time. oh well, getting these things done this week means that all i've got on the go next week is my hotel party, so i can look forward to that all week. |
