holy shit, guys! it's finally, actually, truly happening! we're moving! we're getting out of the city, we'll soon be looking at buying a house.
joshua was offered the manager's position today. they're giving him the highest starting salary they can offer a manager. he starts monday. yes, monday.
my parents are coming down on saturday for a baseball game and summerlicious (planned months ago) and joshua will go back with them.
there is a lot that is going to have to be worked out re: moving/buying a house/quitting my job/finding a new job/etc. but after wanting so badly for this to happen, i think we're up for the challenge.
thank you to anyone who has offered thoughts, prayers, support and encouragement over the past few months (years!) while we tried to find new jobs. i know it's not all going to be smooth sailing from here, but we're so looking forward to taking this next step.
