christmas is happening all up in hurr.
we decorated this weekend. i have yet to take photos, but i'm sure they'll come.
i have most of my shopping done, and the rest is easy stuff [stocking stuffers, a wii game, and a gift card or two]. the apartment looks like christmas, and toda's snow made it truly feel like christmas. it's wonderful. i just adore this time of year.
i spent yesterday with taylor, my maybe-not-gay, okay-totally-gay, but-really-maybe-he's-not, gay friend. seriously, this boy exasperates me. it's strange. i'm not one to put someone into a little box, and i certainly don't give a shit who he wants to love, or fuck, from any sort of judgemental/moral point of view. it's just... ridiculous... how OBVIOUSLY gay he is, and then just as i'm sure, he says something that totally fucks with my head and makes me think that maybe he really is straight. i've never been in this situation before. i know a lot of y'all are likely too young to get this reference, but it's like snl's sexually ambiguous pat. except, instead of being unsure of taylor's gender, i can't figure out where he sits on the hetero-homo spectrum. and the more i try to ask leading questions, or dig for dirt, the more vague and cryptic he is in his responses. it's quite funny really, when it's not frustrating.
anyway, taylor and i shopped all afternoon, then had some excellent conversation over some mediocre dinner. it was really nice to just hang out. we're supposed to go to a club/party together next weekend. i'm not sure i'll be able to keep up with him, but i'll surely try.
i should really be cleaning my apartment right now. it's a bit of a mess, and lauren's coming over for dinner/glee tomorrow. i'm so lazy tho, i just don't feel like moving. it doesn't help that we're at that point in our friendship where i know she means it when she says "you don't have to impress me". no motivation in that. |
