omg guys. lindsay and i did our gift exchange today, and i am dying of awesome.

frickin' awesome, right?! and most amazing (to me anyway) is that she made it for me. made it! with no pattern. just a little trial and error (apparently getting the beard right was a little tricky). that's amazing to me.
i had shown her the beard-hat online (at a price of $150ish + s/h), mostly as a joke. then she goes and concocts this lovely, WARM, dark purple number. it's going to be hard to top this christmas present in the arena of awesome.
go ahead, laugh if you want. but i love it. not to mention that when it's -50 C, fashion goes out the window unless you're braindead.
my mother is going to die when i get off the plane in this hat.
ps: our boarding passes are printed and i'm 90% packed. please pray that our flight's not cancelled. |
