used to be one of the rotten ones and i liked you for that.

christmas was lovely. however, i'm stick sick, and therefore exhausted.
we spent christmas eve at my dad's, with my sister and brothers. christmas day at my mother's involved cooking a huge turkey, roasting delicious vegetables, and being altogether spoiled with gifts. my honey knows me so well, and got me scott pilgrim vs. the world, whip it!, jay-z's decoded [which he's apparently had since its release date], and some ralph lauren sunglasses. my parents gave me gifts and gift cards too numerous to list, and i got $50 in itunes gift cards from my brother.
boxing day, josh got up at 5:30 am to hit walmart for blurays, because he is insane. i slept till 8ish, and we were on the road by 9:30. josh drove and i actually managed to sleep a bit. when we got home, joshua had to head in to work, while i alternated between tv marathons and sleeping.
today my friend krysta came to visit. i haven't seen her since... feb 2004? she goes to school in halifax, and is home on break. despite my plague, i had to see her. she took the train in from her parents' and we hung out. we went downtown to buy her boyfriend a watch, then we went out for dinner, and back here to watch scott pilgrim. she'd never seen it, and i knew she'd love it. the original plan was for her to spend the night, but because i'm sick she's going to have a few beers with friends, then crash with one of them.
i actually feel better right now than i have in days, but i'm still pretty lacklustre. i have no voice. at times it hurts to swallow. my nose hurts from blowing it. i'm going to go to bed early, as sleep seems to be helping. well, that and i just plain love sleep. i'm off all week with nothing to do, so i don't feel guilty about sleeping in, napping, whatever it is i need to do to feel better.
