i just went online to reserve joshua's christmas gift for in-store pick-up, only to discover that it's on sale. hooray! it's only $20 cheaper, but $20 is $20. awesome. so i'll go pick that up this afternoon, manage to keep it hidden for a week, and have it ready to go under the tree when we put it up next weekend.
our apartment is a mess. actually, it's not that terrible, but the number of dishes in the kitchen is embarassing. and i keep meaning to hands-and-knees was the floors, but floors (sweeping/mopping/vacuuming) have always been my least favourite task. maybe if i clean the kitchen to gleaming results, i can convince joshua that he ought to do all the floors.
we went on a "married person date" last night, which meant we went to walmart, and they fiiiinally had the mirror i've been wanting for many months. it's big and beautiful and i can finally see my whole outfit at once! this pleases me greatly. we also went to mandarin for dinner, and it was delicious. josh had never been, and enjoyed it a lot, which made me happy.
