you guys! i have a new gay boyfriend! it's so exciting! the only problem is that i'm not sure he knows he's gay? he's either way in denial, or just not out at work, but the fact that there's any debate as to whether he likes boys is laughable.
his name is taylor. i'm sure i mentioned him about a month ago when we met. he works with my friend michelle, which is how i met him. i'd heard about him before meeting him while moderating a debate between michelle and another of their co-workers as to whether or not taylor is gay. the moment i met him, it was obvious. i have a pretty reliable gaydar and it was blaring disco and throwing glitter at me the second taylor introduced himself.
he added me to facebook after we met, and his statuses since then have been things like "taylor is frustrated that shorter men can't rock a great trench", "taylor loves saturday morning shoe shopping", "taylor enjoyed robyn on gossip girl tonight". i mean REALLY?!??! i hate when people stereotype all gay men a certain way, but COME ON!
anyway, he asked michelle for my number yesterday, and we've been texting and bbm'ing since. i love it. we're hoping to hang out this weekend, me and josh, taylor, and hopefully michelle. maybe others. i don't know when or where, or what we'll do, but i'm sure it'll be good times regardless.
i'm just going to play it off like i know he's gay, and that it's totally cool [which it is, obvs]. there's no reason to make him come out to me or anything, but there's also no reason to act like i think he's straight.
