i had an amazing weekend. josh and i went up to my mom's. it was great to be out of hte city. the weather was perfect, the company was great. i sort of fell off the diet bandwagon, but i knew i would, and i'm prepared to hop back on now that i'm back to reality.
it was so strange to think that a year from this weekend we'll be up at mom's for our wedding reception. i spent the weekend picturing where things will be, how everything will look. i'm so so excited.
i got the shoes that mom picked up for me for the wedding. i love them. all sparkly and fun. after work tomorrow i'm meeting up with my mom to try on/hopefully buy my wedding dress. so so so exciting! i really hope that it works the way i want it to, and we can cross that big thing off the to-do list.
july looks like it's going to be a great month. it started wonderfully with fireworks and food, and looks like it will end with an epic fiesta friday, complete with visits from kelly, jesse, and the boys.
i'm suddenly super tired. it may have something to do with talking to zuber from 2:30-3:30 am. i wish i could magically fix his heart.
i really do not feel like cleaning the bathroom right now, but with my mother coming for the night tomorrow, it's likely the smart thing for me to do. |
