i had a good birthday. it was low key, and that was fine. a weekday birthday is not conducive crazy hijinks. those may (or may not) come this weekend in the form of steak dinner friday, downtown exploration + beer and wings with friends saturday, and/or canada's wonderland on sunday. add that to the fact that i'm getting my hair cut then grabbing dinner with lauren tomorrow evening, and hitting up a bosox/jays game early next week, and i've got a pretty full social calendar at the moment.
josh got me a dairy queen cookie dough blizzard cake for dessert last night (and tonight, and tomorrow night, and so on till it's gone). soooo yum. i really love their cake. yes.
i treated myself to those gorgeous shadows from sugarpill for my birthday. i went with magpie, junebug, and hysteric. i couldn't pick just 2. i hope they get here quickly. they shipped last night (so fast!) so i guess it all rests with the postal system now. |
