I think there was a bug before and they weren't showing up for me, either. At any rate I don't see them on my own diary. It was just huge in comparison to the entry.

We only get paid regular time because it's a provincial holiday, and apparently we fall under a federal jurisdiction. Also don't get Easter Monday, or the Civic long weekend in August. It's bullshit. Apparently we get Remembrance Day as a holiday- hasn't happened since I've been around- but they give us Christmas Eve in lieu of it. Or something.
Last year for Family Day, things weren't as busy, so we could have the day off without pay if we wanted- after filling out a leave of absence form & getting it approved first, to make sure we weren't going to be needed.
