eeee! the slushie machine is booked!!
now that birthday fun is over, i've front-burnered the wedding reception plans. it's getting to be crunch time. but! it's all going to come together.
i bought the paper for our invitations on my lunch break today.
the menu is 95% planned.
mom and i have a date to make salsa [which we'll use for the nacho bar at the reception, and give as favours] in 2 weeks. we planned how much we'll need last night. she's sourcing her old recipe as i type.
we discussed the keg situation, and how much other beer/liquor we'll need.
andrew is going to let us use his mic and amp for speeches.
i have every intention of putting together our photo book as soon as the invitations go out.
i've looked into hotels and b&b's in the area.
and again, most importantly WE BOOKED THE SLUSHY MACHINE! seriously. you have no idea how happy this makes me. i don't think i've been this excited since my actual wedding day. and we got an amazing price. the company that we're renting from is super sweet, and is trying to source a cheaper distributor for the mix. we're to call back around the first of june with numbers for quantity, and our flavour requests. we have a 2 tank unit, so i'm thinking strawberry daiquiri and lemonade, if they're available.
