toilet = fixed. hooray!
i've had the parts since tuesday, i just didn't feel like taking on the task till the weekend. not to mention that if i broke something and couldn't fix it on say, a wednesday night at 10 pm, i'd be without a toilet for the night/next morning. i figured today was the safest day for home repairs with the biggest potential to fix any mistakes that would have made things worse rather than better. fortunately, once we got the old nuts loosened off, everything went swimmingly. and it's even better than before because a) my toilet doesn't run and b) i feel all accomplished and junk.
i got my hurr did this morning, and really need to dye it. i bought a box of "deep purple" on a whim a few months ago. i think i might bust that out.
i am so looking forward to spring. i need to rock cute/hot shoes.
