you're a touch overrated, you're a lush and i hate it.

we're home.
again, there are too many details and too many "you had to be there"/"you have to know so-and-so" moments to bore y'all with, so i'll toss out a little list.

highlights:
- seeing my family, friends, and puppy!
- absolutely amazing food [including grilled lamb, a great bbq at my dad's, deep fried turkey + gigantic grilled shrimp, all-i-could-eat sushi, and a bunch of fast food that we can't get in kenora/winnipeg]
- the weekend's weather. it was nearly 30C in london.
- bojana's house. after a house-fire a year and a half ago, her family built the most amazing house. it's all clean lines, chrome, modern, euro-stylez. i could live in her bathroom, happily.
- driving my mom's new jeep. it's pretty.
- meeting my brother's girlfriend. they've been dating off and on for over 2 years, but i'd never met her. she lives in the u.s. and up until this weekend she and i had been polkaroo-ing each other. she's a sweet girl, even if we disagree on politics.
- flight delay in london on sunday. we had 3 extra hours to kill, so bo, michelle, and jp came to rescue us from the airport and drink on a rooftop patio. it was one of the best parts of the trip, and the sunburn was entirely worth it.

lowlights:
- jesse completely bailing on hangouts with no notice or communication.
- the drive home. we left amazing weather in london to return to first pouring rain, then insane snow here in manitoba/northern ontario. driving was horrendous. i could hardly see anything, and drive at literally half the speed i normall do. it took forever for us to get home and i was stressed the whole time. i was not impressed.
