I'm interested to know where you go to school that would have to do a "colorization" for class. None of mine ever had us doing that.

Yeaaah... in all my classes I always had to make my own things, vectors, etc. We never did anything with colorizations.
So like... you put a texture over it and set the filter to color? I wouldn't really classify this as a "colorization". As far as I've ever been aware that's coloring a black and white photo to make it look realistic.
