Yesterday's entry was kind of fun, writing in the form of a story. I should do things like that a little more often. I have to say, after such a rough start to the day, a wonderful friend whom I adore and love to pieces, read my entry and contacted me on Facebook, so as not to be constrained by the small amount of characters available for notes. She made me laugh and smile and it was right on time. It's funny, cuz she knows my husband's name, and she just now made the connection to the 70's singer with the exact same name, so I told her a funny story about it that made her chuckle in return.

Al called me when he got to work, an hour late because he claimed to have stood in line at the post office to mail my package to our grandson, for 45 minutes. Well if he did, then he was stupid. He knew what time he had to be at work and the package could've gone out today, next day delivery. He didn't have to make himself late. We were snippy on the phone with each other because of it and hung up with things still very much in the air and us being angry with one another. I don't like being blamed for him being late, I'll tell you that. That was his choice and decision, not mine. I will not take the blame for it.

Later in the afternoon when he called during his lunch, he was apologetic and so was I. We got to it and through it and things were better between us, even though he was still at work. At least we weren't hanging on to the anger anymore. Truthfully, and I didn't tell him this, but I go over the anger a lot earlier than he did. When I was so pissed after he left, the mailman showed up at my front door with a package for me to sign for from the Czech Republic. It was my new bowl. It's so pink and pretty. I just love it. Well I packed it with my roach that I could no longer smoke without burning my fingers, and I toked up a buzz. I didn't care about being angry anymore because I was feeling no pain.

It's probably not too smart of me to get into the habit of getting stoned when I'm pissed off, but yesterday I didn't care. I just wanted to feel better, so I did it. I toked off an on until the roach was spent and my buzz finally wore off around 6:00 pm. That's it for me for the time being. I have no further need to smoke right now. It's there if I have a panic attack, which is what I bought it for in the first place, and that is what I intend to use it for. It is strictly for medicinal purposes and not recreational use. Although, when Amy comes here at Christmas, I'm sure there will be some recreational use.

It took me all day to do the damn dishes because I was so stoned and not really into doing them. I did a little, sat down and watched television, screwed around on the computer, got back up and did a little more, and so on, until they were all done. I finished right around the time my buzz wore off. I also managed to change the cat litter box too, and even took the old litter bag out to the trash. Never did get around to taking out the garbage, however. I will say this, bending over to pour litter and put a bag in the box is not recommended when you are high. Talk about a head rush. Good grief.

Amy has taken to calling me "Robin Spicolli" a reference to Jeff Spicolli, Sean Penn's character in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. "Hey dude, let's party!"

For dinner last night, I made cheesy hashbrown casserole and I was kind of worried that Al would not enjoy it because it's a meatless dish. I suppose I could've browned some ground beef and tossed it in, but I didn't. I should've cut the recipe in half, but didn't, so we've got a ton of leftovers. Anyway, Al loved it. He said it was "right on time." That's good, in Al speak.

I was awake when he got home from work, with his new iMac in tow, but I went to bed shortly thereafter while he was setting the thing up for use. He told me I can look at it and play around on it, but just don't download anything. I'm not going to touch the thing until he can show me how to use it. I'm not a Mac person. I'll wait. I won't download anything on it anyway. It's his computer, not mine. He got it from work on an employee discount, and the money comes directly out of his check. He'll be paying for it for a year, and then he'll be buying me a new one. I hope this laptop holds out that long.

Corri used one of her phone passes to call me last night. She tried the night before while I was sleeping, so obviously she didn't get me. She called Mom instead. Last night she just wanted to talk to me. She's doing really good so far, and I know it's hard for her, but I think she's going to make it this time. Keep those prayers and good thoughts coming though, just to be on the safe side.

So that was my day yesterday. I can't begin to imagine what I'm going to have to write about tomorrow since I have absolutely NOTHING on the agenda for today other than a shower. I hope I can find something to keep my mind occupied.
