Yesterday, Al went back to work, so I can't say it was the greatest day for me. Once again I was alone all day. Now, don't get me wrong, I like my own company and I don't always mind going it solo, but when you're alone all the time like I am, the shit gets old really fast. I was used to being alone before Corri moved in with us, but I hated it then too. I just didn't notice it as much because it was the norm. After having Corri here, I got spoiled with having company during the day, so when she left for rehab and Al went back to work, it was like having to start all over again. Eventually, I'll get used to it again and not complain about it so much, but I'm not there yet.
So I took my shower and got back into my pajamas. It was too cold for me to get dressed and go out for the mail. Since I wasn't going anywhere, after my shower, I got right back into my Christmas jammies once more. Mostly I screwed around on the computer, but I did reach a point where I needed a nap. I slept for about an hour and a half, until Al called at lunch and woke me up. He missed me as much as I missed him, so he told me he was going to be coming home sick and leaving work early. He didn't get to leave as early as he wanted to, but he did get out early. They sent him home because his gas was so bad and he kept running back and forth to the bathroom, he wasn't the most productive guy in the warehouse, He got home around 8:30 or 9pm, which wasn't all that early, but still, every extra bit helps. I don't have any hope of another early night for him in quite a while.
Today promises more of yesterday. Nowhere to go. No reason to get dressed. I already took a shower and my pajamas went right back on. Hubby won't be coming home early tonight, that's for sure.
Maybe I'll have something more to write later, but I seriously doubt it. It's another solo day for me. Oh, joy.
