I saw yesterday on FB that my friend had some drama going on. It is the friend whose wedding I missed about 6 months ago, the one I was slightly disappointed about not being included in. Anyway, it turns out her husband is/was having an affair, it was really fresh, so not even 100% sure what was/is going on, or if it was like a proven fact or what. Anyway. Kinda fucked up. They just went on their honeymoon a few months ago and just bought a house as well. WTF?
On the home front. CJ came by at about 5:45. He needed his SS card mainly, I guess he is applying for a job. He also got his computer so he can do school work (ain't holding my breath on that one). Anyway, he said something about his friend's mom and step dad saying he could stay there, but B got home while CJ was in talking to me and was surprised by this fact haha... B spent some time talking to him outside before they left, and CJ said he would talk to Tom (27 year old guy who his dad used to hang out with, CJ mainly uses him not to procure cigarettes, dude lives with his mom. In a trailer. And I believe there is at least one other person who lives with them) and Nina (girl I believe his dad was dating when he got arrested, maintains some contact with her, but I don't think she'll be down for it either). B told him basically he needed to spend some time and think about wtf he is doing, and during their whole talk, his friend's step-dad was sitting in his truck agreeing with B heh. B told him he is always welcome back here.
B also told me that there is a problem with the dog we placed, he has changed, and the organization sent someone out to check on him (it was a male vet) and he thinks the problem is there no male in the house, and he needs that. So weird, sweetest dog ever, he is being destructive and aggressive... *sadface* they would like us to foster him while they locate a new home, but that ain't happening... We are already over the pet limit bily a cat and a dog >.< we plan to let her know we have more than just Roscoe, just in a month or 2 when we can afford to pay more or a deposit for them.
Today when I got to work the HR manager was in the break room and asked about my phone, said she'd called me (I didn't realize she meant this morning), ended up that changing it online doesn't change it for her or whatever... Anyway, there was a no call/no show and she wanted me to come in early... Even if she had called me at 8:10, it wouldn't have changed my arrival time much. It takes me an hour to get ready, 30 minutes to get there, I leave about 35 minutes before I hafta punch in... Anyway, I was the only one on for the next hour or so, then the lead chick came in, by all she did was cover breaks for service mainly, and I think noon the Indian chick arrived... Sheis pretty bad though, so it was like I was alone all day. Yes, thank you for no raise, no nothing, you fucks. If hey didn't keep us so tight on the scheduling his would not happen so much. Oh, and the store close to me here is closing! Wuhhhh?! Shoot, so glad I didn't xfer there!
My computer is still not hooked up and I am starting to really want it to be... I also need it so I can check mail from CJ's school. I got a message (a general one for all students) telling us to check in the upcoming weeks for important info stuff (regarding testing I think). I also am wanting to play a bit of WoW. Not that I don't have a lot to do around here, but downtime is nice when I can get it =) All this to say I am writing this from my phone so it will be short(ish) heh.
I don't think I mentioned that my mom needs a kidney transplant? She is starting dialysis soon and had some prep surgery thing for it the other day. All seems to have happened quick. Fingers crossed they find donor quickly. Not even 100% sure what caused the kidney issue.
And lastly, late last week, an old friend messaged me on FB, we have been FB friends for a while, but we have never had any dialogue. We chatted, then texted, then talked on the phone. It is like no time has gone by haha... Kind of scary how old we are now and how much time has gone by. I looked for him a lot in recent years (via the web), to no avail. So it was nice to finally locate him on FB a while back. Nicer to have gotten the chance to catch up. Only downside is that it makes me realize how little I have done with my life thus far!
Ok, time to eat, change the cat box, iron, wash dishes, do laundry, and whatever else I can before bedtime (like 3 hours!)! |
