just needs a home.

i stayed home sick from work today.
and have been forced to battle within.
the difference between what is real
and what is delusion
is a thin line lost within the smoke.

sometimes i can go days,
weeks even.
without once doubting my mind.
yet today, it plays tricks on me.

i just wish i knew why.
