6 days!!

helllo. my last couple of days have been pretty good. my first day of work was yesterday. i really liked it and all the people that i met yesterday were really nice. soo the new job is so far a success. on wednesday night i went to the alpha phi gathering and might some really wonderful ladies. they were all 20+ years older than me... but all pretty wonderful. it's really awesome to have the bond of sisterhood with ladies that graduated from college in the 40s. last nights alpha phi get together was fun too. it was more younger girls.. but there were a couple ladies in their 30s and 40s in the mix. both nights we just drank lots of wine and ate good food.

today i was exhausted though.. after my last couple of days of work and wine drinking. plus i didn't sleep too well. but i still got up and did my workout at the Y. i've been trying to exercise 3 days a week for 30 min a piece... and i have been feeling soo much better. i hated myself for gaining 20-30 pounds during the last 6 months because all i did (for the most part) was sit at home, watch tv, and play video games. now it was good while it lasted.. but i've always been an active person. so i really needed to change my life style around. it's working so far!

6 days till i get to see my wonderful boyfriend!! i am so excited. we are exchanging gift for christmas since we wont see each other again until january. soo tonight i have to go pick up my schedule from work and go shopping for his gifts! i love buying people gifts and watching them open them. i just wish i always had money to do so.
