| So happy! Soo I am currently in Bloomingdale, IL which is about 30 min Northwest of Chicago and I just had an amazing weekend with my boyfriend. We actually got to see each other for more than a couple hours and in person not over iChat  & it has been wonderful. I flew up here for a wedding and decided to stay for about a week and a half.
The wedding was last night and it was beautiful! The reception was on the top floor of a hotel with a gorgeous view of the Chicago skyline. They had yummy appetizers and dinner pecan crusted chicken tenders, shrimp, filet mignon, devils food cake -- yum yum and more yum. The music was played by a sweet wedding band.. they played all sorts of stuff. We danced to some oldies... blues... rock.. even some R&B. The best part was that we were able to spend some time with many of our closest friends.
The awesome weekend continues with us spending time with Vito's family at his Grandma's house for his Aunts birthday. His family is Italian so we NEVER go hungry and the food is ALWAYS good. We ate some pasta, ribs, baked potato, ham, salad, and meatballs. And that was just dinner. For dessert we had a variety of candies and chocolates, plus cupcakes and a chocolate cake for the birthday girl, and a caramel apple upside down cake.  I swear every time I visit I gain 20 pounds.. just from eating all the wonderful food. OH well..
Tomorrow I guess today now... Vito has to work so I will just be chilling out at his house during the day. I probably play some video games and watch some TV. I am on vacation now! I really need to catch up on my CSI's and NCIS's and I REALLY want to start watching the new season of American Idol. SO yes.. i will hopefully have a nice relaxing day. Then when he gets home we will be going out for our Valentine's Day dinner date at Avenue Ale House. Woot!
