Ex: "To be or not to be." or "I love you, but I fucking hate you."
I can't with people who think that the world is simple with no grey area. Especially something as complex as human emotions. People legitimately experience ambivalence all of the time. I find it fascinating when someone who doesn't understand the concept of this always tries to enforce a "solution" or ideal that only makes the other person's situation worse. Or they just sit there and judge because they can't explain their ignorance. Whatever. You can love and resent a person at the same time. You can want to die but don't want to stop living at the same time. I'm sorry your life is so simple that you cannot grasp this. |
