even if noone else reads this

I really really want to lose weight. I'm really unhappy with myself at my current weight. I weigh 143 pounds and I need to lose at least ten pounds. I hate being fat but I almost always sabotage my chances of reaching my goals by eating too much, finding an excuse to overeat, flat out binging or feeling out if control when I eat anything like I almost can't stop. It happened again today. I made plans to start my diet today but just because I had to do some cleaning, I gorges myself in calories reasoning I could use them all up when I cleaned but in reality, I will be lucky if I break even now and I'm feeling sick, sad, scared and mad at myself. I want to start being successful on my diet again. It seemed like in the past, it helped me when I had an online journal as sort of extra accountability . So I hope I can stop sabotaging my dreams of losing weight and start making it happen so I can feel better about myself.

143 is hardly fat. Try over 200, love.

What's the adage? It takes 21 days to break a habit, 22 to create one? Something like that. Make yourself visual aids, they tend to help a lot, spend the time making yourself a workout calander, and check off the days that you do your workout regimen. Make a meal plan! I've done that before and no joke i've lost stupid amounts of weight in like a month. Plan your meals in advance, i used to make a week's worth of salads, put them all in tupperware containers and just keep them in the fridge. It's easier to eat right if the food's already made and your only requirement is to grab it and eat it. Make this a routine, you'll be 10 lbs lighter in no time. You only need to make it for like a month, by then it'll just be part of your routine. You can do et!

I'm a big fan of food. Eating isn't the issue, the calories aren't a problem if you're working them off. It's eating the WRONG stuff that's the problem. You MUST get 1200 calories, at least. And cutting calories down to 1200 a day is dangerous, especially if you're working out. And with the above commenter, if you have a meal plan and make all of it on Sunday, you'll do fab. Along with getting rid of any junk food you have in the house.
