Merry late Christmas!

Christmas was pretty good this year. I was cancelled at work so I didn't have to go in. Shaun and I got to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together for the first time in 4 years. Friday my Mother, Father and Sister came in town. I haven't seen my Sister, Katie since last December so that was wonderful.

Katie got the most adorable set of Clifford books that come with the characters stuffed animals for Jonah. We will have to keep them hidden. Jack, our jack Russel, is a molester of stuffed animals... She also got me the most adorable outfit for Jonah to come home from the hospital in. It's navy blue and has elephants on it.

I got Shaun a lamp that's previous life was as a motorcycle crankshaft. He really likes it. I still need to get him a lamp shade for it.

We went to Walmart on the 26th. I got a bunch of great Christmas stuff for 50% off. They were pretty wiped out by the time we got there. I got a huge tree for $20!

I've been so busy lately. We found a house, we close on the 30th this month. I've been packing and cleaning like crazy. We went and did a walk through yesterday, the chick that is living there is in Florida. All her furniture is still in the house and they place is trashed. She's supposedly flying in tonight. We think her father is rich and was buying this house for her while she was in college and then she dropped out so he's selling it. She doesn't want to move. Her dad's realtor was pissed about the state the house is in. He promised us that if her stuff isn't out and the house is still a wreck they will pay to have it all hauled away and cleaned. She must have cancelled her trash service too, because there's a ton of trash bags in the garage waiting to be taken out. Either she cancelled it or she isn't quite sure where the curb is. Either way, ew!

I'm still excited though. It'll be our first real home together. We've been living in the mobile home that he bought as a bachelor. This house will be ours.
