This poem has an interesting story behind it.
The date I have on my poems are the dates which I had origenally posted them. I wrote this one back when I was a junior in college.
This poem came to me in a dream.
One day, as I was waking up, I saw words in my head moving down, like credits roling in a movie. It was going too fast and I couldnt stop the words. The next morning I woke up and was prepared. I had my computer on over night and I couldnt remember it all but what I could remember, I wrote down. The 3rd day, I didnt move when I woke up and I layed there, memorizing each word, line by line and this is what came to me. I wrote-gave it to my college friend Jill who I was close to but just like most of my friendships, time passes and things changes and we dont talk any more.
