sitting in my father's car
I felt like I was a king or a czar
I saw fireworks and stars

we were only six teen
we believed we were a life time team
you were my queen
you were in your pretty prom dress that was green
the night I kissed you
we had forever, or so we thought
I know that I loved you a lot
but then it was as my heart was thrown in water that was hot
the next day you were caught
making out with the football player you said looked hot
you tore my heart from my chest
you stepped on it like the rest
I thought you were the best
but you just used me, abused me, and now I am here feeling I failed the love test
I cry every night
I cut myself with this knife
I don’t deserve to have a life
