so i had to have a gulten test today, which is normally a blood test and a drink and then another blood test an hour later and then one more after that but not more me!!!! you have to stave yourself from mid night the night before as it is to see how quickly your body deals with the sugar.
1st blood test went fine she got one straight away and i felt fine
2nd blood test as not so good Al, the woman who was dealing with me couldnt get any out of my left arm so had a try in my right one with none there either, by which time i started to feel bad, i ws taken to a bed where another woman had a look at my left one, still nothing so while i laid on the bed feeling sorry for my self and very sick they went to the the professionals, she was great straight in and out with blood this time!!! (and a massive brusie)
3rd time we had even bigger issues, i felt ok i guess but i must have had 5 or 6 needles and 2 midwifes and then 2 professionals to get this one tube of blood out!
but al was good after a whie they did it and i was sent home!! |
