Late Night TV Movies Have Become My Secret Weakness...

01/31/2010

Even though I in general, hate them.

It is now official. I should not be allowed to watch television at such late points because I keep watching the most absolute shite on it. The current one is something called Polar Storm, on Movies24. They've decided to basterdise the entire polar shift that happens every thousand of years and declare that the entire world is going to go up in smoke. Considering that it happened very recently, and nothing happened (go me paying attention to QI with Stephen Fry), I hate how they turn such events into global catastrophes.

Though it still doesn't rate as bad as Banshee. It's best to not let me get into a rant in how they turned a mythical creature that announced the demise of people in Celtic myth but had nothing to do with the actual person dying, into a killing machine that could Glamour itself. Sometimes I wonder if any of them actually do any research (or is that me putting too much 'serious thought' into the process in which the movie is thought up of) into it.

This entry is more to make a note of what movies I am letting myself see. I have quite a low opinion of myself at the moment becuse of all of this.

Update:

A submarine being projected upwards from the steam of an underwater volcano in order to escape a blast of two 50 megaton bombs without completely falling apart from the sudden rise? Uh-huh. Right : I am taking this movie way too seriously, I know :
