We've actually been quite lucky so far, what with all the other stories that are travelling around Ireland of people being completly out of water, having to queue at certain parts of the town in order to get basic essentials, pipes still continuing to freeze (even now) and so on.
There was a slight problem at the new apartment we're moving into, the pipes froze and so they had to destroy the kitchen wall in order to get at the affected area. There is currently no tiles up in the kitchen, but that doesn't really bother me.
This all ended yesterday, when our water pressure dropped so that we can't have showers. Baths are a bit of a problem as our water heater isn't working at the moment so we have no hot water, but we can have quick baths in order to get clean. I'm not sure if I'm going to be in the same good humour tomorrow when I need to wash my hair though.
Anyway, we'll see.
