I Wonder

05/17/2009

Recently my father has suffered from anxieity and is on medication to lessen the effect of it on his health. Well I was hanging out with a friend that is an occasionally habitual user of pot. Now I don't because well it's honestly just not my kinda thing. While we were listening to a radio show where a stoner or someone alot like one was talking about all of the good reasons to leagleize pot. Honestly I know that there are probally some real medical uses for it but I highly doubt that it works as well as some people think it does. The guy on the radio was talking about it relieveing pressure in the eyes, helping people with MS, and being useful in pain managment. Plus he then talked about the recrecrational uses of it. Now I will admit that I do understand that once it's leagle you can tax and regulate it, but in this society where kids are medicated for being kids do we really need something to get them hooked on.

Later while we were hanging out I mentioned that I was gonna head home. I don't know why me leaving ever has to be a problem, but he always makes it into a production. So I mentioned that I would also be checking up on my dad and he said that this was another thing pot could cure. So this got me thinking about some of the things and I have come to a conclusion. While pot might be able to help it also makes you think that what you say is significant. He was telling me that smoking pot makes you more cautious, relaxes you, and makes you less violent. Now I will admit that I've never seen a violent stoner I have seen my share of paranoid ones. So with it's unpredictable nature who but people who want to use it for personal use would want it leagle.
