I had recently seen the movie Where the Wild Things are. It's not like the book or at least what I can remember of the book. However I have noticed some things about the movie that I feel are warrnings for some friends of mine. R & M are living together and have a kid. The kid is kinda rambicious and not well diciplined. Granted that kid is young the movie shows what he might grow up to be. In the movie Max is possably in school he looks to be old enough considering that the sister has friends who drive. The problem is that Max flies into rages that seem to be on the level of mental disorder. Honestly if this were my kid he would be getting a whoopin. The final disturbing part is Max's return. He comes back home never saying the words "Sorry" or anything to that effect, and no form of punnishment is implied. So what happens to him is that his mother makes him food, and gives him chocolate cake. I looked upon this with horror. This movie shows no responsibility for actions that he took. |
