Today while hanging out with a friend from an old job I ran across an ex. I know she noticed that she noticed me. It was in that quick instant when my eyes and hers that sudden contraction of instant realization that the eyes do so well. I just don't know what to think about it. It's odd I seldom come across an ex. Rarely even with the ones that live close by I end up seeing them again. It's also strange that when we were in that store the kanji tattoo that I have started to hurt. Funny that pain happened when she was near. A part of me wonders if in the soon to be time there will be a message in my inbox from her. |
