It's kinda how I feel. Things aren't the way they should be. My subordinate got a new job. I think he now makes more then I do now. His life also seems to be getting better, and somehow I know that it's not right. It honestly might be the green eyed monster seeing that his luck has changed and mine seems to be on the same downward saunter. I now must train new people to be my replacements at work. Perhaps replacements is the wrong term subistutes is more the correct term. The problem comes with getting good people, and being allowed to train them. Before I had a group of well enough trained people that I could spend a day going over the basics and hammering into them the things I wanted them to know. Well now I have to spend time training them and doing my job in the line of things. I also don't know if I have enough work to do that I can train them on. This also means that any chance for me advancing is kinda gone since I will have to take alot of time to train new people to be arround my level. |
