Leave him in the sunset 28

09/28/2011

So today was mostly uneventful. I woke up at around 7:30 because my nose was all runny. I sat up for about an hour or so and got a phone call around 8am from my friend Brad's house number. I was a bit concerned because I know Brad's been having a rough time recently. I answer and it was Brad's father calling thinking that the one time I had called marked my number as a potential job opportunity. I explained that I was just one of his son's friends and he hung up promptly...dejectedly. I felt sorta bad as it is the same situation my dad's dealing with. I went back to sleep soon after and slept until around noon. Woke up and did a bunch of nothing until around 3:30 or 4pm. I walked to a local women's boutique and bought the dress I tried on yesterday. It was marked down as well as 50% off...so $6 later, I had a cute dress which accentuates my assets.

After the store, I went and got some breakfast/lunch. Ate quickly and walked over toward the library to check out the local farmer's market. Didn't see anything that really tickled my fancy so as I was heading out, I saw someone who I have been avoiding for a while due to a circumstance that I don't wish to delve into due to the nature and the gross imposition it put me into. Regardless, I went with him to a local ice cream shoppe and talked business regarding his company that I had just started a position with before the encounter. Anyhow, he invited me to the first meeting after the merge/separation of the groups within the company. I sat in on this meeting and was thrown directly into a flood of ideas regarding short skits they are working on as well as potential opportunities with filming television shows. It was interesting.

So yep, I got home from that around 10:30 or so and here we are. Work opportunities and all that are abound. I just need to work them all out before I get in too deep. Going to bed now, I'm tired!
