I need to work on designing this thing, I'm so not digging the pink and grey...

It's strange writing in a new place. I guess I need to write some background about myself.

I'm 24 years old and a SAHM. Before I entered mommyhood, I worked at a doctor's office, a job a loved at first but hated in the end (never-ending drama!). Well, I actually worked full-time until I found out I was pregnant with Charlotte, then I quit. My mom watched Savannah for me, so I didn't have to worry about day care and that's why Savannah has a super close relationship with her Mimi. :)

I'm married to Tiago, we just celebrated our 5th anniversary on October 15th. He works night shift at a local hospital as a respiratory therapist. He also has a nursing degree, which he'll use once the position he wants opens up. He's planning on going back to school for nurse anesthesia after he has the 2 years required working in a critical care unit.

I have two daughters, Savannah Riley born January 1, 2007 and Charlotte Grace born October 5, 2009.

I live in a semi-small city in Georgia and I've lived here all my life. All of my family lives here, my parents are only a 5 minute drive away and I love that. I'm very close with my family, especially my mom. I have three younger brothers, Nick (20), Chad (almost 18) and Brett (almost 16).

T was born in Brazil, but moved here when he was 5 years old. He was raised just outside of Baltimore, Maryland and I'm sure he'd prefer living somewhere more fast-paced than here. But I think he's grown to like it. My in-laws live in Florida only a few minutes from the beach, so each visit is like a vacation for us. Because of the drastic differences in culture, my relationship with in-laws has taken a lot of work. A LOT. I'll spare you the technical details, but I assure you it's an interesting, drama-filled story. MIL and I are finally in a good place and I'm happy about that. FIL...not so much, but I don't even care about that anymore.

Um...what else?

I like reading, but nothing to serious or heavy. I like murder mysteries with a touch of romance, Nora Roberts is my favorite.

I love Dexter, Weeds and Grey's Anatomy.

Some of my favorite music: Dave Matthews, Mumford & Sons, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, The Killers, CCR...just to name a few faves.

Ok, I'm going to end this because it's starting to sound like a personal ad. But I guess that's my life in a nutshell. I love my life. I love spending my days at home, hanging out with the girls or taking them shopping, whatever we do, we have fun.

God has blessed me in so many ways and for that, I'm thankful.
