If you were given feedback on someone's creative running of something, and it was generally a negative response that you knew they weren't expecting, how would you go about delivering it?
What if this person was also a friend/housemate? Would you keep it strictly formal, within the confines of the professional relationship? Or would you try to break it gently in a more personal setting?
I'm an exec member for our role-play society in charge of the LARPs we run, and the once-a-term game that my (sort of) housemate has been running has been given fairly harsh reviews, which means we're no longer giving them a slot of their own. Just wondering how to break it. |
