I kind of forgot about writing. I haven't even been to this site in like a month. I'm so bad. Or lazy. Which is it? I haven't been on the internet much at all lately. Let's see, what's happening in Lilly's life?
Joe and I are FINALLY engaged. He got me a gorgeous ring. Absolutely beautiful and HUGE. He said it's big because he doesn't do things for me as often as he should and that I'm always doing for him and the kids with nothing in return. He won't tell me where he got it or how much. Of course, I asked because I'm super nosey.We've decided to get married in September. We're not going to the court house and we're not having a regular fancy, dressy wedding. I'm thinking something small and outside where I can wear something as simple as a sundress and him in some khakis and a nice shirt. We just really aren't the over the top dressy type of people.
In other news, I've got a new job. I'm no longer at the resturant. Joe and I's relationship has improved so much now that we don't work at the same place. But money has become a major pain in the ass. $10 an hour sounds amazing next to TIP ONLY. But when I got there, I realized the $10 an hour equals about $200 less a week when added up. Plus, we're now paying for daycare for two children. It's gotten stressful. I mentioned going back to the resturant but Joe says "HELL NO!" So, we'll just have to deal with being poor I guess.
LJ turns 1 in a couple of weeks. June 18. I can't believe it's been a year already. We're have a small little party at the park down the road from us. I have him a basketball cake that looks like a court. Then some cupcakes that look like a basketball. It's going to be super cute.
Anyways, I'm going to go watch this marathon of Cake Boss. If I missed something that you want to know than just ask. |
