I personally believe that the WIC office is exactly what the waiting room to hell would be like. It is packed with people who don't want to be there. Children are running around screaming. Women who are either hormonal or just plain bitchy are trying to control their little brats. You're stuck sitting in the plastic chair that's making your ass go numb. In this tiny room with about 200 people cramped inside. You're waiting for something that will just be even more torturous; whether it be a nutrition class where they tell you that you're doing everything wrong or it be picking up your vouchers where there's been some kind of misunderstanding and you won't be getting them until next week.
Not to mention, it turned my 7 month old into a little devil. He kept pushing the baby next to him. And when this baby didn't respond to LJ's OBVIOUS attempt to play with him. My son grabbed this baby by the hood of his jacket and nearly jerked him out of his mother's arms. HOW EMBARASSING! |
