So much for daily posts eh?! To be honest, the days completely slipped away from me. I do classes online but the only reason I know it's a week day and that I need to wakeup for my lecture is because I have an alarm on my phone set for Monday to Friday. Whoops!
So what happened in Lindsey's week?! Not much, to be honest. Sunday a singer I really liked passed away from Covid-19 so that was a bummer. My roommate offered to play cards and drink vodka with me as a tribute. I amped up my workout routine at home (mostly because I've been eating carbs so I wanna maintain where I'm at and not gain) so now I do my midsection workout every day and then I rotate out different sections every day. I've been off for my third week now. I was set to go back to work April 6, but we got an email this week saying we're off until May 1. I'm pretty bummed. I'm being paid, which is awesome, but I miss my co-workers, human interaction, and my routine.
I've been doing my best to maintain some kind of normalcy (even if it's just what I set up as normal for my time in isolation) but it's all just kind of gotten to me. There weather is getting beauitful out, which is wonderful because this means my dog and I can start doing longer walks, but at the same time it sucks because this is around when my friends and I start having bonfires and planning our annual Victoria Day Long Weekend camping trip. And it doesn't look like that's happening this year! Let's hope that people really start taking this seriously and our summer gets saved.
