End to 2008 salute
I can't believe another year is already passing. It feels just like yesterday that we were all celebrating 2008, and now its 2009.
I went through a lot in '08.
My sister went to rehab for drug abuse.
My brother got married.
My parents moved to be closer to him and dragged me along with them when I didn't want to.
I had to leave all my friends and my boyfriend.
The move was extremely hard on me and Brian.
I had to go to a new school and try to make new friends.
I was in that school for one semester and transfered back to my old one when I convinced my parents to let me move back home with my sister.
Once I got back I was hit with the news that my boyfriend was cheating on me and seeing another girl, and he ended up breaking up with me.
I suffered a lot of depression of it because I was hurt terribly.
I was constantly fighting with my BFF Joey.
I met a new and wonderful guy Kevin who ended up becoming one of my closest and dearest friends.
We dated for two weeks before I realized I still love my ex.
Brian and I finally got back together after talking EVERYTHING out.
On top of all that I was stressing over whether or not I was going to get into my college of choice (Berkley) and I did.
It was a really busy year for me mainly filled with heartache. So I hope this year will be the year of love.
