Wow! It has been almost year since my last entry! A lot has been going on and I have not had access to the internet for quite some time. I know that sounds crazy. Who can't get on the internet these days? Well the answer is ME. I am not going to the public library to have an hour of internet a day where people can see the giant screen over your shoulder. That sounds a bit paranoid of course but it really isn't comfortable to me to put on clothes and go all the way down there for that. I lost my electric last week too. So now my house is cold and dark. My husband just found a new job which he can't start for another 2 weeks and I go back to my seasonal job in April. For now, we have NO money and the state won't help us because we have no income to maintain our bills and rent. When my hubby lost his job in September, the shit hit the fan. When we got our tax return, we handed every penny over to our landlord so that we could catch up, leaving no money to pay the electric bills which had been piling up. I don't know what else to do other than wait. Luckily my 5 year old can stay at her grandparents house. Unfortunately, they claim there is no room for us. Just her. So we have to stay at a friend's house while my daughter is at her grandparents. It is driving me crazy to be away from her so long. I am trying to still go to work, but now a 5 min ride has turned into 45 min. I can't save money for the bill if I spend it all on gas. I have tried to sell some of my paintings to no avail. I can not get a bank account, so that means I can not get a loan. I have tried every charity in my area. Nothing. I have run out of ideas. We will be fine once April hits and we can both make some decent money. I am tired of waiting. If anyone has any new ideas, I would love to hear them. |
