I'm still alive! I had some trying times recently. Always concerning money. I finally have some callbacks on all of the applications I have been putting in. Two interviews today! I am pretty nervous! I can't WAIT until I get back into the working world! My first order of business after getting paychecks is going to be saving up to get my daughter a nice play set for the yard, with a swing and a slide. The one I always wanted as a kid! And, new beds for us all! YAY! No more back pain! I have started my garden this year. So far I only have some spinach and tomatoes, but they are looking great! I am pretty bad at keeping plants alive, so hopefully I won't kill them! I plan on getting cucumbers, bell peppers, squash and maybe some zucchini. My landlord was impressed at how lovely I have been making the yard look with all the spring flowers. We are also working on building a nice fire pit in the backyard. I love the summer! I can't wait until the ocean is warm enough to go swimming! My daughter started gymnastics and she LOVES it! I knew she would because she climbs everything in the house! Things seem to finally be coming together and I couldn't be more thrilled. I hope everyone had a great Easter! Well gotta go, I think my chicken is done boiling. I'm making one of my favorite dishes...chicken salad. Yum! |
