I need a CAR! Transportation is key in this area. There are no trains, the cabs will cost you sixty dollars a pop, and the buses are small and won't run on weekends or after 7 p.m. I live in a cozy little town and work a short walk from my house, but to shop or cash a paycheck, or go to the doctor, I need a car. I have walked 9 miles to get to work at times in my life. But My 3 yr old can't walk that far. I own a car. I can't get it to a repair shop, or pay for the repair for that matter. So it just sits there in the driveway, mocking me. |
